Ministry of MSME Hosts Seva Parv 2025: Virasat se Vikas in Varanasi September 30, 2025 MSME Sampark Msme News 0 Varanasi, September 30, 2025 – The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) organized MSME Seva Parv 2025: Virasat se Vikas from September 28 to 30 at the Rudraksh International Cooperation and Convention Centre in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The three-day programme aimed to celebrate cultural heritage, encourage community participation, and highlight the contribution of India’s MSME sector towards nation-building. Union Minister for MSME, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, inaugurated the event, stressing the critical role of MSMEs in generating employment and strengthening the economy. He also underlined key government initiatives, including the National SC-ST Hub, PM Vishwakarma Scheme, Udyam Registration Portal, and Udyam Assist Platform, which are empowering entrepreneurs across the country. Minister of State for MSME, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, joined as Guest of Honour on September 28. She spoke about flagship schemes like PMEGP, PM Vishwakarma, and Udyam Registration, noting how they are enabling self-reliance and contributing to the vision of a Viksit Bharat. Several dignitaries, including Shri Manoj Kumar (Chairman, KVIC), Shri Nand Gopal Gupta (Cabinet Minister, UP Government), and Shri Ashok Kumar Tewari (Mayor of Varanasi), also marked their presence along with senior officials of the Ministry. Highlights of Seva Parv 2025 Participation of over 1,500 beneficiaries of government schemes such as PM Vishwakarma, PMEGP, Khadi and Gramodyog Yojana, and National SC-ST Hub. Exhibition-cum-sale showcasing products by artisans and local entrepreneurs from September 28–30. Swachhata Karyakram held at Namo Ghat on September 28 to promote community service. MoU signed between KVIC and NSIC for enhanced marketing support. Distribution of loan certificates, margin money subsidies, and toolkits to beneficiaries. Mahila Paricharcha session where women entrepreneurs and SHGs shared their entrepreneurial journeys. Key Achievements of Schemes PM Vishwakarma Scheme, launched in 2023, has already registered 30 lakh artisans across 18 traditional trades, with over 23 lakh trained and 5 lakh beneficiaries receiving loan support worth ₹4,331 crore. More than 8.3 lakh toolkits have been distributed via India Post. National SC-ST Hub Scheme, introduced in 2016, has benefited 1.5 lakh SC/ST entrepreneurs, leading to a 36-fold rise in public procurement from SC/ST-owned MSEs. The Khadi sector recorded a 47% growth in production and 41.45% increase in sales in the past three years. Under PMEGP, subsidies worth ₹28,533 crore have supported over 10.6 lakh enterprises, creating nearly 86.5 lakh jobs.
